Telepresence robots are not a new technology. Many robotics companies already have telepresence robots on the market such as Double Robotics, Ava Robotics, Ohmni, Blue Ocean Robotics, and more. Each robot includes a both the two-way audio and visual communication channel, as well as a movement to travel around the environment. Many of these robots do not have a neck joint and instead focus on moving the gaze by rotating the entire robot.
